In an era when seemingly everyone wants to blow up overnight, MICO is proof that nothing beats great music and consistency. Back in highschool, MICO would sing in Discord voice chats andTwitch streams to connect with new listeners one-by-one. At 20 years old, MICO’s hard work has paid off in the form of a cult fanbase and 35M global streams… all while working completely independently. 

For MICO, the internet isn’t something to be overthought—it’s like his second home. In 2019, he assembled a team of collaborators through friendships he made on SoundCloud and Discord. For three years, they produced MICO’s entire discography remotely before he finally flew out to Maryland and met them in person. Together they’ve crafted a sound that blends modernproduction with heavy 2000s nostalgia paving a path for newer generations entering the pop-punk space. 

Earlier this year, MICO embarked on his first tour which included a sold out hometown show inToronto withover 650 fans in attendance. MICO is now gearing up for his first North Americantour and his forthcoming EP set to release in fall of 2023.
