Magic City Hippies

etix Magic 5458101759658817

This Event is All Ages   Magic City Hippies have carved out a distinct place in the indie landscape, blending Miami’s sun-soaked swagger with infectious funk, psych-pop, and danceable grooves. What began as the Robby Hunter Band evolved in 2015 with the release of Magic City Hippies, the album that gave the trio its name and solidified a sound both laid-backand relentlessly kinetic.   Since then, the band has built a reputation for genre-fluid songwriting and high-energy performances, earning spots at major festivals including Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits, and Lollapalooza. Their early Hippie Castle EP (2015) introduced their signature mix of poolside melodies and weekend-ready rhythms. Modern Animal (2019) expanded that palette with a deeper, beachside sensibility, while Water Your Garden (2022) served as a psychedelic post-pandemic celebration of connection and self-expression. In 2024, the band returned with a run of stylistically diverse singles, from the disco-funk of “Givin’ Up On Lovin’” (featuring NoMBe) to the acid-house-tinged psych-pop of “I Can’t Let You Go”, culminating in Enemies (2025), a groove-centered breakup album full of emotionally charged, rhythm-driven tracks. Marrying an indie-rock punch with nostalgic, synth-forward textures, Enemies reflects a group willing to evolve without losing the essence of their sound.Though their recordings have drawn both critical and fan acclaim, Magic City Hippies are best known for their live shows: sweaty, exuberant, and effortlessly engaging. Their ability to convert casual listeners into loyal fans is no accident, it’s the result of years of relentless touring, musical chemistry, and an unapologetic commitment to making every show feel like a celebration.   Listed ticket price is inclusive of all online fees. All sales are final, please review before purchasing. The Kilans

This Event is All Ages Emerging from the Salt Lake City music scene, The Kilans are an indie rock band known for their raw sound and intense live shows. Formed in 2023, the band features Jack Ongman on vocals and rhythm guitar, Jacob Shultz on lead guitar, Cooper Brezoff on bass, and David Wiseman on drums. It all started when Jack and Jacob met while skateboarding in college and began jamming together. They soon brought in David and Cooper, and everything clicked. Their debut single, “Curly,” dropped just five months after they formed and made waves in Salt Lake City. However, it was their second release, “Why is it Light Out?,” with its introspective lyrics and dynamic instrumentation, that really built their loyal following and got them featured on numerous Spotify playlists. Since then, The Kilans have been recording and playing shows, including gigs in Los Angeles, continually pushing the boundaries of indie rock with their blend of modern and classic influences. Meltt

etix Meltt 4685361752570575

This event is All Ages Life cycles through birth, death, and rebirth. Flames reduce objects to dust only for the wind to sweep them into the ether in another eternal form altogether. Meltt’s music resembles this natural sequence. The hum of distorted guitars dissolves into bright melodies carried by shimmering synths and soaring vocals. The Vancouver band—Chris Smith [lead vocals, guitar, bass, keys], Jamie Turner [drums, percussion], James Porter [guitar, keys, bass, vocals] and Ian Winkler [bass, keys, guitar]—enable rock, alternative and psychedelia to coexist in one ecosystem with airtight instrumentation and deft songcraft on their second album, Eternal Embers [Nettwerk]. In the wake of the 2017 Visions EP, the group spiritually and sonically aligned on their full-length debut Swim Slowly, which yielded “Love Again,” “On Your Own” and “Fool Of You.” Then, throughout the pandemic, the band wrote what would become Eternal Embers in sessions, formulating ideas separately.  Eventually, they spent a month in a remote cabin where they wrote and shored up the foundation of the record. They shared five tracks as part of the 2023 Another Quiet Sunday EP that would only contribute to a larger statement on the new LP. “We want you to go on a journey with this album,” Jamie concludes. “Even though we deal with darker themes, it ends on a positive note. I’d like for you to have this big cinematic ride but end in a positive place. There’s always light at the end.” Listed ticket price is inclusive of all online fees. All sales are final, please review before purchasing. No Refunds.

Vetiver

etix Vetiver 4696731752747966

This Event is All Ages  Andy Cabic’s musical being is, like many curious 21st century musicians, shaped and sustained by divergent tangents. If he’s not crafting a melancholy folk-rock diamond in his Northern California studio, he’s moving a dance floor with bossa nova and house DJ sets, or helping curate a compilation of Japanese City Pop.   What’s magic about the new Vetiver LP Up On High is the way these tangents color the ten songs without undermining a distinct move to more elemental, spacious and natural arrangements. At the heart of each of these ten songs is Cabic’s voice: sweet, tender and weathered—a welcome and soothing old friend if ever there was one. There are other familiar friends: the album also features longtime engineer and collaborator Thom Monahan and the same resourceful and versatile band that helped Cabic make the denser and more layered Complete Strangers from 2015.  Up On High was written on acoustic guitar. Having moved twice since Complete Strangers, increasingly accustomed to a life in and out of boxes, it was the easiest instrument to reach for in moments of inspiration. The basic tracking of the album took place over a few Spring days at a friend’s house in the high desert of California. This simple set-up captured the organic immediacy of a roomful of friends playing together on the floor. It’s alive and ever so subtly crackling with the intensity of a band working together, teasing out the melody and rhythms of songs with warmth and intimacy. Cabic and Monahan took the fruits of this session to Los Angeles and finished the album at Monahan’s studio over the summer as other friends popped by to lend their talents.  This album reflects the world that Cabic created and lives in: Jorge Ben phrasings peek out from behind Tom Petty’s Wildflowers outtakes, a gentle jangle lifts whispers of REM’s Murmur on a breeze up from Compass Point Studios. But Up On High is most clearly Cabic and his band inhabiting the realm the band was born in—sleek, economical, soulful, and sometimes sadness-tinged melodies riding on the gentle choogle and sway of an ensemble moving in beautiful unison. This is an album that breathes with you in real, lived in, natural time. Listed ticket price is inclusive of all online fees. All sales are final, please review before purchasing. No Refunds.

Covet

etix Covet 4685491752573970

This Event is All Ages Covet is the baby and brainchild of guitarist and songwriter/composer Yvette Young, conceived as a sort-of-rebellion against and simultaneously an extension of her classical roots. The band was founded in the Bay Area, California, with the intention of fusing lush post-rock soundscapes with the more intricate elements of progressive music, with melody and emotion at the forefront, evolving with each release. The name came from Yvette’s love for the band Basement, as well as a fondness for the meaning of the word: to want something really badly, which is what the whole creative process feels like to her: a sort of yearning.
