Fcukers
This Event is All Ages fcukers’ explosive ascendance began downtown in New York City. In a fast-track three years spent amassing millions of streams, playing Glastonbury, Primavera, Lollapalooza, Coachella and in arenas supporting LCD Soundsystem and Tame Impala, they earned BBC Radio 1’s ‘Future Artist of the Month’, and spots on both Spotify and Amazon’s “Artists to Watch” lists. Audiences worldwide crave the party fugue state that the band’s riotous live shows design. Now, fcukers is releasing their debut album ‘Ö.’ The genre-bending album collages Dub, UK Garage, Trip Hop and 2000s Hip Hop with more modern sounds spontaneously merged in unique and measured ways. Minimal arrangements keep the tracks focused and to the point paired with the band’s staple mantra-like lyrics. ‘ö’ plays like a DJ set, taking the listener on a wild metaphorical night out. West 22nd
This event is All Ages West 22nd is a rock band out of Austin, TX, made up of friends who met at UT Austin and came together with one shared goal: to make music for the world and become the next great rock band. Their sound—self-described as carousel rock—spins through genre, emotion, and energy without ever losing its center. It’s a term they coined to capture the controlled chaos of their music: sometimes dizzying, sometimes grounding, always unforgettable. From a breakout EP to a debut album that pulled in over 1.5 million streams in its first month, West 22nd has made it clear they’re not here to blend in. Their lyrics are autobiographical, their shows are electric, and their ambition’s impossible to miss. They’ve already played ACL, sold out venues in cities they’d never even been to, and built a fanbase that screams every word right back at them. West 22nd isn’t a throwback or a trend—they’re what’s next. And if you’ve ever been in a crowd when the chorus hits just right, you already know. Cornelia Murr
This Event is All Ages Cornelia’s Murr’s newest album began with a question: What do I want? The answer is everything, and it’s never felt more urgent. On her first LP in six years, Run To The Center, out February 28, 2025 on 22Twenty, the London-born singer-songwriter delivers her most confident, expansive album yet. Across 10 hypnotic pop songs is a fully realized portrait of a woman and an artist in her thirties, standing triumphantly in uncertainties, asking the crucial questions one needs to sustain a life: How can you fit everything you want into a life? How can you do this if you want so much?Run To The Center, which Murr will tour internationally next year, is her first release since her self-produced, six-track EP Corridor in 2022 and her first LP since her 2018 debut Lake Tear of the Clouds, produced by Jim James of My Morning Jacket. For years, Murr tried to make another LP, but extraneous forces kept getting in the way, whether economic or global. But in the spring of 2023, Murr started working with prolific producer Luke Temple (Adrienne Lenker, Hand Habits), adding to her impressive list of collaborators, which includes Rodrigo Amarante, Alice Boman, Reverend Baron, and Oracle Sisters among many others. Temple was an old friend whom she had met in New York more than a decade prior. Finally, forces coalesced for them to work together. The result is a sweeping album of Murr’s most spectral and tender pop yet, born of a need to excavate her desires and experience of time, both in new songs born spontaneously out of an easy collaboration with Temple, as well as older songs that, for years, had been knocking around in her brain.Run To the Center is the most updated expression of who Murr is now, both sonically and emotionally, particularly as questions around artmaking have become more urgent for her over the better part of the last decade. CANCELED: Sweet Pill: Still There’s a Glow Tour
This Event is All Ages. Sweet Pill’s sophomore album, Still There’s a Glow, is a hard-fought document of self-reflection and growth. It is raw and real, stacked with a lyrical honesty that’s matched by singer Zayna Youssef’s soaring, expressive vocals. Written and recorded in the wake of a whirlwind three years following their 2022 debut LP, Where the Heart Is–and after scrapping essentially an entire album’s worth of demos–Still There’s a Glow is a dynamic, cathartic journey of making conscious change within oneself. “I went through some depression last spring, and then I went into therapy. It was also a big turning point in my life as I was about to turn 30, while I’d written our first record when I was graduating from college–that’s a big change,” Youssef explains. “I could’ve kept making bad choices because they’re easy, but I had to come clean to myself. Half the album was written before and the other half after, so the songs are kind of hard on myself but some are also hopeful, with a light at the end of the tunnel. You put out a fire, there’s still an ember that’s still glowing–that’s the record. It’s about being at a low and climbing out of it.” The close-knit New Jersey/Philadelphia quintet had been going virtually nonstop since the release of Where the Heart Is (Topshelf). They went on tour with bands including La Dispute and The Wonder Years, embarked on their own headlining runs–organically growing a devoted fanbase with their passionate live show, which Stereogum has lauded as “an immensely charming powerhouse…songs that obliterate the distinctions between power and finesse, between pop and hardcore, between emo and the larger continuum of crowd-pleasing rock ‘n’ roll.” The young band earned co-signs from stars like Hayley Williams and Doja Cat, while continuing to tour nonstop worldwide and play festivals like Best Friends Forever, Riot Fest, and Outbreak.
