Lola Kirke: The Trailblazer Tour
Tuesday, June 17
Doors: 7pm // Show: 8pm

Born in London and raised in New York, Lola Kirke may not be *exactly* who you picture when you imagine a vital voice in Country, but with her forthcoming four song EP “Country Curious,” produced by one of the newest stars of the genre, Elle King, she’s about to change your mind. Written with some of the freshest voices in the industry – Aaron Ratiere (Miranda Lambert, Midiand, “A Star is Born,”) Jason Nix (Lainey Wilson), and Mary Kutter (Bailey Zimmerman, Nate Smith), Kirke’s new songs, inspired by some of the best on Country radio today, will undoubtedly appeal to real fans of the genre. Expanding upon the playfulness, depth and unique voice she established through her critically acclaimed 80s Country inspired sophomore LP “Lady for Sale,” released last year on Jack White’s Third Man Records, she’ll also keep the fans she’s already won, including those she made while touring the world with Elle King, Margo Price and First Aid Kit (who feature on the first track!) among others. Add to this the profile she has built throughout her decade plus career in film and TV the notable Gone Girl, Mistress America, Mozart in the Jungle and the upcoming Three Women and it’s easy to see how Kirke is primed to reach across the musical aisle and create a fan base all her own: The Country Curious.
