FROM A WHISPER, TO THUNDER
From a haunting delta blues ballad to a raucous 7 minute 70s-rock style explosion, Sacramento natives, The Willow Snags, put on a show that will swing you back and forth between the light and shade. With a plethora of originals and numerous covers (expect anything from Prince to Blind Melon), The Willow Snags will take on many different genres and inspirations, yet still have a sound solely unique to them.
With the recording of their first EP underway, cousins JD Mercado and Marisol Werner have expanded the lineup, from a 2-piece acoustic and vocal duo, to a 4-piece lineup featuring Sacramento-based lap steel and electric lead guitar player Tony Iniguez; as well as founding Band of Coyotes member Mike Schotter, on drums.

Produced by Sacramento music stalwart and open mic legend, Marty Taters, The Willow Snags debut EP is being recorded at Rosa Mortem Studios in Sacramento, CA. Engineering and Mixing/Master done by John Bologni.
The EP release is being celebrated on June 1st at the Starlet Room in Harlows, featuring performances by Winter Reign, Mother Muerte and The Willow Snags.
