The Sextones
The Sextones

From the wild deserts of Reno, Nevada, The Sextones are a family of music renegades known for viciously executed soul compositions and white-knuckle driving funk. With Mark Sexton on guitar accompanied by the commanding rhythm section of Alexander Korostinsky on bass, Daniel Weiss on drums and Ryan Taylor on keys, this band is redefining the sound of modern soul.

Their musical chemistry began forming in grade school, and as young adults their chops defy their age. Eager to hit the road, the band started touring heavily during high school, often lying about their age to play in dingy bars. In 2016 The Sextones are gaining recognition on the major festival circuit and beyond, with appearances at Railroad Earth's Hangtown Halloween Ball and Wanderlust Festival in Tahoe.

"We are always hungry for more and we're more than ready for the next big thing" Mark states, referring to a recent tour opening for Toubab Krewe. In recent months they've also shared the bill with Macy Gray, Charles Bradley, Dumpstaphunk, and their idols are beginning to take notice.

Formally known as Mark Sexton Band, their 2013 release, Young & Naïve, was mixed by none other than legendary drummer Alan Evans of Soulive. "It sounded great even before I got my hands on it", explains Alan Evans, "that's what happens when you get great players playing great songs." The album was recorded in Los Angeles by Emmy Award winning engineer Larold Rebhun whose resume alone is like reading a 'who's who' list in Hollywood.

Tipping their hats to the days of Tower of Power and Stevie Wonder, The Sextones are forging the path for a new generation of funk and soul.
Jelly Bread
Jelly Bread
Emerging out of Reno, NV, Jelly Bread is a tour de force of full frontal funk, thoroughly steeped in a Rock Americana style, with a dash of rollicking indie alt rock radio appeal. The band is fronted by award winning songwriter and lap steel player, Dave Berry, and vocalist and beast of drummer, Cliff Porter. The band's ability to meld the elements of a high desert twang and Oakland funk & rock through musical alchemy produces a chameleonic playlist, highlighted by dual vocals that bounce between native chanting at a bluegrass barbeque and a gospel singer fronting a rock band at a Sunday morning service. Cliff brought his gospel band rhythm section partner, Brady Carthen, and his bass slappin' dirty funk with him. Likewise, Dave brought in keyboardist and songwriter, Eric Matlock, resulting in the core group that has crafted a high energy calling card that is counterbalanced by exceptional songwriting and storytelling.
HANS! and the HOT MESS
HANS! and the HOT MESS
HANS! and the HOT MESS is the newest project by HANS EBERBACH, an award winning singer/songwriter with a punk heart, a soul voice and a robot head
