El Ten Eleven release first ever vocal collaboration and it’s magical

El Ten Eleven take over Harlow’s with musical technicality on Oct. 5.

Post rock is a genre that is familiar with a lot of instruments and musical ideas, but tends to stay away from utilizing the human voice. More often than not, a post rock is entirely instrumental and bands will let their soaring, atmospheric wall of sound do the talking for them. Los Angeles duo El Ten Eleven have followed this formula for fifteen years until the release of their latest EP Unusable Love, a collaborative effort with vocalist Emile Moressi. The end result is a tight, triumphant collection of intricate pop songs that goes to show that El Ten Eleven will continue to explore music’s boundaries one project at a time. You can find the full EP here.

El Ten Eleven will be at Harlow’s on Oct. 5 with indie pop duo Sego, who we’ve featured before. Get your tickets to the show here.
